BOO!!!!

Have I told any of you before, how much I love Halloween? The ghosts, ghouls and witches. The yummy candy and the Trick o Treating with my little monkeys. Yup I simply adore this holiday and I'm in the "Ghoul"ish frame of mind already.

Today I've got a great little card to share with you using the wonderful Haunted House Border die from Cottage Cutz. The papers are from the  My Little Shoebox Trick or Treat collection and I think those bats are divine hehe.




To give a little dimension to the card, I used Helmar Zapdots and some Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots. The haunted house is cut from Onyx Mica Metallic papers from Paper Temptress. Love working with this luxurious paper. If you haven't tried it before, go take a look. It embosses like a dream!!!

    Congratulations on your new blog design, the rich earth tone colors in the trees and font are my favorite. The eye looking at me is a little intimidating though, I'd have to say. LOL Love the layout of your card Erika. :)

    Hi Erika,

    I sure like the colors, but I especially like the smoke/mist and I think the rolling eyeball is just super!
    In Holland Halloween is not really established, though we can find more and more Halloween stuff in the shops.
    But only a few people decorate their houses and by a long shot not in the way you folks in the States do.

    I like that the design is yours, not just a standard template. The design allows the reader to get a little glimpse into your soul - if that's not too weird!

    I love Halloween too. It is my favorite 'holiday' and my favorite time for crafting. Your new banner is awesome. Really gets me in the spirit of the season. Love your card too. Purple is my favorite color and I use it a lot for Halloween.

    I love the look/feel/color of the background trees. The flowing smoke on the side of the page is awesome...it give the page a sort of mystic feel. The eyeball at the center top scares the crap outta me!! lol

    Great design, I like how the wisps along the sides resemble tulle it gives a lacy effect, your header is fabulous, love the wings and the jewel looks like an eye whirling and looking for something special. Your card is a great halloween card but as always your cards are fantastic.....

    I must say your background is very different, but I like it -- particularly the colours you have used. Though the revolving eye is a little freaky. I do appreciate having the dark background but having the actual content as black on grey -- makes it so easy to read.
