Color Create Challenge and 365Cards Sunday Sketch

Today I made a birthday card for a 1 year old for the Color Create challenge of lilac and blue. A little different, but quite cute. I wanted to base the card on the "superstar" theme and this is what came out of my craft room The 365 Cards Sketch was what I decided to use for the layout, and was quite fun. I don't usually use a lot of circles, so this one made up for that. All the Grunge board was distressed then painted with Snow Cap Paint Dabber. Then I stamped bits of the flourish image onto each piece. Remember to use supplies that you would usually think of, like these little mirrors. You may be surprised at the outcome.

Supplies:
stamps: Autumn Leaves-Flourishes II, Hampton Arts-Star
Spellbinders: Circles Large and Small
Paper: Card stock- Lovely Lilac, Brilliant Blue. unknown star and marble design paper
Accessories: Ivory Satin Ribbon, SU birthday rub-on, Small circle mirrors, Tim Holtz Elements and Nature Grunge board (available at Pez-A-Doodle).
Inks: Nick Bantock Prussian Blue, Versamark, Blue Glaze Pen, Ranger Adirondack Paint Dabber-Snow Cap (available at Pez-A-Doodle)

Thanks for stopping by and
Happy Crafting
