Hi Everyone, Hope you had a fantastic Tuesday. Today is the first day of the new Pez-A-Doodle Design Team, so make sure you go check out their blogs.
I thought I would use some refreshing colors for this card, and one of my growing favorite color combos is turquoise and light green with a hint of black. This card was super simple to create and I hope you take a stab at the sketch too. You can find the sketch at Card Patterns
I tried something a little new to me with this card and I think the technique is called Popping Pastels. It is where you use versamark then chalk the stamped image to give a real soft look. I think I quite like this technique and am going to try it again and again.
Supplies:
stamps: JustRite Harmony Classic Circle II Stamp Ensemble 2 5/16, Innovative Stamp Creations- Fancy Designs Flourish
Spellbinders: Circles and scalloped circles.
Paper: Card stock- Gable Green, Tempting Turquoise. DCWV All Dressed Up Matte Papers
Accessories: black, brushed nickle and silver snaps.
Inks: Versafine Onyx Black, Versamark, Teal Glaze Pen, Pastel and Black Chalk
Thanks so much for stopping by
