This weeks challenge was a cupcake challenge. We had to find a photo of cupcakes to take inspiration from and I found this wonderful one that compliments the July Royal Kit so well.

Here is my card where I've used the Flying High stamp set and the July Royal Kit 7 Gypsies papers.

This week, we had a color challenge. I love a good color challenge and with Blue and Brown as the colors, my mind shot outta the starting gates with ideas. All of the supplies on my card are from the June Royal kit

I just love love love this little tea cup stamp that is included in the Royal Kit. Such a sweet image and so versatile. There is something so relaxing about a great cup of tea isn't there. Queen Kat Designs Blog Hop Monday

Hello Everyone and welcome to another Queen Kat Monday Blog Hop. If you have been hopping along with us, you should have popped over here from Keely's Blog. If you haven't started from the beginning, take a moment and hop on back to the Queen Kat Blog.

This is the first hop of June and that means a BRAND NEW Royal Kit. This month's kit is filled with Basic Grey Nook and Pantry goodies. I love the vintage feel of this line and I'm so happy that I got to work with it for June. The stamps that you receive in the kit, are super sweet and you will just adore the kit.

This week our challenge was a sketch

I love the look of this sketch and had an idea pop into my mind, the moment I saw this inspiration. Here is my take on the sketch

I decided to fussy cut one of the cupcakes and really give it dimension. I made a new cupcake paper holder using one of the papers in the kit. Added some white fabric paint to the icing and some stickles for the cake part. Then finished it all off with a cherry. What do ya think? Sweet tooth cute?

Dress forms the Cosmo Cricket way

Hi Everyone and Happy Friday. Man this week flew by. Guess that is what happens with a short work week hehe. Today I've got another card to share with you that I created using the May Royal Kit from Queen Kat Designs. The stamps alone, in the May kit, are simply beautiful. This dress form caught my eye as soon as I opened up my kit. Ain't she purdy???!!!???

I stamped the image on a glossy tag with staz-on then spritzed the tag quite liberally with Scarlet and Lemon Glimmer Mists. Have I ever told any of you, how much I love Glimmer Mist? There are so many ways to use it.

I just love all of the little pictures on the Material Girl line from Cosmo Cricket. Such a sweet line.

Cosmo Cricket meets a Zipper with QKD

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday to all of you. I had my weekly weigh in for Weight Watchers, and I'm down another .8lbs. I'm super excited about that, and I'm really starting to feel good about how I'm looking. On Monday I am starting on a little daily routine, to bring a bit of order into my life. When it comes to crafting, I'm exceptionally organized, but at the expense of housework I think hehe.

Today I've got a great card to share with you that I created with the May Kit from Queen Kat Designs. It was filled with lots of Cosmo Cricket goodness and a few great little additions.

When I first saw the zipper in the kit, I wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate it into a project, but I think it worked out well.

Have you ever used sewing notions of any kind on your projects? If you have I'd love to see a link to them. I'll have another QKD Royal Kit project for you tomorrow and it is full of Glimmer Mist mmmmmmmm.
