Cosmo Cricket meets a Zipper with QKD

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday to all of you. I had my weekly weigh in for Weight Watchers, and I'm down another .8lbs. I'm super excited about that, and I'm really starting to feel good about how I'm looking. On Monday I am starting on a little daily routine, to bring a bit of order into my life. When it comes to crafting, I'm exceptionally organized, but at the expense of housework I think hehe.

Today I've got a great card to share with you that I created with the May Kit from Queen Kat Designs. It was filled with lots of Cosmo Cricket goodness and a few great little additions.

When I first saw the zipper in the kit, I wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate it into a project, but I think it worked out well.

Have you ever used sewing notions of any kind on your projects? If you have I'd love to see a link to them. I'll have another QKD Royal Kit project for you tomorrow and it is full of Glimmer Mist mmmmmmmm.

Until then, thanks for stopping by

  2. Oh Erika you one creative momma! What a fabulous idea and very unique! Congratulations on your weight loss. And yes, I can totally relate about the expense of house cleaning for a chance to create something. LOL.

  4. Congrats on .8lb. That's actually a lot for one week. Good for you. Yeah, housekeeping goes by the wayside in my house too. My husband says he has to invite company over or it never gets done. He's not too far off the mark! Lol. Nice card. Perfect for someone who enjoys sewing.
