Christmas is really starting to catch up to us isn't it? Trying to get everything done before the holidays is always a daunting task. The wrapping, baking, decorating, visiting, cooking, crafting...The list goes on and on. But, it is the one "list" of the year that I so enjoy tackling. The wrapping will be done this weekend and I'm going to bake some Christmas cookies with the children later today.
In all the hustle and bustle, I love taking a bit of time for myself in the craft room and this months projects for Tattered Angels really pushed my creativity and I LOVE IT!!!! This month the design team at Tattered Angels is sharing a bunch of ideas using glass as our base.
Today I've got some earrings that I made using an old pair of ceramic earrings that were ...well... a little 1978'ish. I glammed them up using some Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Mist in shades of blues and greens with a little touch of burgundy. After they were completed, I used Helmar Antique Acrylic Sealer to keep the color on. Aren't these super fun!!!???
I'm so super dooper excited about how these turned out and now that I know how well Tattered Angels products work on ceramics, I'm gonna go crazy painting everything I can hehe. Tomorrow I'm going to share my second project, which is perfect for the Christmas tree. Then I'll share with you my favorite Tattered Angels project to date. A Harry Potter inspired Tea Light Holder. You WON'T want to miss it.
See you tomorrow
