I think that has something to do with constantly stalking both Beatriz Jennings and Julia Stainton's blogs. If you have never checked these out, go take a look when you can.
Here is the card
Is that not the sweetest image? I adhered the tag to a white piece of card stock using the V2 Vellum Adhesive from Helmar. Stamped a flourish with Staz-on and added some Cosmo Cricket small type letters to finish it off. A little organza ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a Prima rose.
Love the softness of this one and the sentiment is from one of my favorite love poems of all time.
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Gorgeous... interesting that we can now blend technology and "new" materials such as transparnecies to give a vintage look... very stylish and effective. Love it.

ReplyDeleteHi Erika! I've come by way of Deb's blog when I saw your PH blinged out frame over there this morning and had to jump over here. :> You've made such a sweet card. I love all the soft colors grounded with a touch of black. And of course, you've left me with a happy sigh with a little Elizabeth Barrett Browning. :> Hope you've had a wonderful weekend!
