Ms Scraptastic 2010 contest

When I found out that Scraptastic was having their Ms Scraptastic 2010 Pageant, I knew this year I'd have to take part. I'm brand new to the community, but this place is super sweet. So off I went to grab my best evening dress and practice my speeches. Praying to whomever would answer that there would NOT be a bathing suit competition.

After try-outs, the first weekly challenge rolled out and what an amazing color challenge. Magenta, Chartreuse and Grey YUMMO!!! Okay, I've gotta have a little fashion sense to make this one work. So who better to learn from, than our 2 year old daughter. . Here is my layout that I entered for round #1-"Bling Queen"

She sure loves her bling. The papers are a combination of Stampin Up, Rose Moka, Bo Bunny and Pink Paislee. One of my favorite chipboard pieces from Magistical Memories  , the Til de Swirl , was added to the bottom of the layout. First, I applied liquid pearls and distress stickles to it. Think I'll move on to round 2? Layouts scare me lol
