Thought I would try a different color combination and gosh I love how these colors look together. There is something about the SU Not Quite Navy, that I absolutely love. It really is stunning and I find myself using it a lot for the main card color.

I used 2 different patterns from the DCWV All Dressed Up Matte Stack and also used the Gable Green CS too. Stamping a beautiful image from Third Coast Stamps in Versafine Black Onyx, then sprinkling it with Dazzling Diamonds (yet another favorite of mine)

Now isn't this Eyelet the coolest thing you have ever seen? It is a part of the new Soho Designer hardward from SU. Quite "fabulous" with the idea I had for this card.

For the sentiment, I used onyx black again on a stamp from Innovative Stamp Creations and lightly shaded it with a Le Plume marker, then added some black stickles for a wee bit more sparkle.

Finishing the card off with two shades of primas that were painted with Shimmerz Buttercream. Added a piece of layered ribbons and this card was done.

I so hoped you enjoyed this card. Take a chance and use a color combination that you wouldn't usually work with. You will be surprised at the outcome
thanks for stopping by and

Cool card!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I also love Not Quite Navy -- especially when combined with Tempting Turquoise. The two together always remind me of the ocean.

ReplyDeleteVery lovely work and I think I am going to rise to the challenge and do some projects with colors I don't usually use. Well done.
