Leather and Lace

Today I'm here to share with you a cuff I created using Helmar Fabric Stiffener and 450 Quick Dry adhesives. First off I wrapped a piece of grunge paper with a beautiful coral crinkle ribbon (using 450 Quick Dry to adhere it). Once it was dry, I applied a healthy layer of Helmar Fabric Stiffener to it. When it was almost dry, I used an embossing folder to give it a little more texture. Then I let the creative muse take over and this is what I came up with. Hope you like it.

I also used May Arts Black Lace and Suede String on the cuff to give it a little "rock and roll" edge. Here is a close up of the back of the cuff. I love how that suede lacing just adds a little attitude to it.

Now although you can see the embossing on the ribbon, I wanted to show you a close photo so you can really appreciate what Helmar Fabric Stiffener can do. This is quickly becoming another favorite in my Helmar arsenal!!!

Isn't that AMAZING!!!Strong stuff I tell ya, the type you wanna bring home to Mom for sure. Leather and Lace and a strong bond with Helmar. Does it get any better? Only if you listen to a little Stevie Nicks while creating it. Until next time
