Happy First day of Summer everyone. The grass is green, flowers are blooming all over the place and our daughter had her last day of preschool today. This summer will be filled with visits to Gramma and lots of trips to the lake and the park.
Today I am sharing a few cards with you that I created using some wonderful Nikki Sivils papers, Basically Bare chipboard and Helmar Adhesives.
First off a pretty card that I created using the Something for Everyone collection and the Chipboard Hearts from Basically Bare. I love how Liquid Scrap Dots really gives you control of the amount of dimension you want in a project. Both the twine and the ruffle ribbon are available at Really Reasonable Ribbon
Next, a really summery card created using the Blueberry Hill collection from Nikki Sivils. I added a small piece of red gingham ribbon and a little Stickles to the letters and flower center for that lil extra something. Those flowers are one of my favorite images from Nikki Sivils to date
What are your plans for the summer this year? Camping? CHA? BBQ's? Would love to hear what you are doing with your children over the summer holidays.
Until next time

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Cards Erika... especially love the vintage one - guess cause that is just my style of card LOL. Enjoy your summer ahead of you, ours is months away :( xxx
ReplyDeleteReally fancy your vintage card Erika, but then again I love the bright summery colours of the second card, too! Have a great summer, ours started off really great in April, but now it has been raining cats and dogs for the past few weeks... Take care!
