Happy Saint Patricks Day!!!

Hey everyone, Spring is on its way here in Southern Alberta. The snow is melting and St Patty's day is looking like blue skies!!! Our little boy made a Leprechaun trap for school and today will find out if those sneaky imps got fooled or took the gold. I'll have to show you a picture of it when he brings it home. We used a tonne of Champagne Glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Can't imagine that the Leprechauns will be able to say no hehehe.

Today I've got a few projects to share with you using Helmar Adhesives and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. These products work so well on fabrics and I was elated at how they turned out.

First a sweet lampshade for our daughters room. I used a gradient spraying technique that is super easy, to really blend the colors together.

Here is a close up for you. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry for the flowers and they aren't going anywhere!!! The colors I used are Lavender Fields, Pink Polka Dot and Rum Punch. Glimmer Mists and Chalkboard Glimmer Mists are so versatile!!!

This next project was a lot of fun and I'm so glad I decided to spark up a piece of my wardrobe. This Batik scarf was created using Harvest Orange and Patina Glimmer Mists. What a way to update an accessory!!!

Love how the colors work together. YUMMO. Now lastly, I have an unfinished project that I just HAVE to share. Did you know that you can TIE DYE with Tattered Angels products? Yup, you sure can. This is the beginning of the pillow for you to see just how well this works. I've used Marmalade Glimmer Mist as the die and I have 3/4 of a bottle left. A little goes a long way...

I hope you all have a fantastic St Patty's Day today. To see my last project, make sure you make your way over to the Helmar Blog today. You are going to LOVE IT!!! Until next time...

Toodles

  4. The lamp shade looks spectacular, and perfect for a little girl. But I wonder... was it REALLY for your daughter's room? Or were you a bit looped and created a hat to sport. So now I wonder wonder wonder... Is it home decor? Or a hair accessory? BTW, the colors are fantastic! hugs, de
