Freedom is from WITHIN!!!

Hi Everyone and happy Tuesday. We still have a few people that haven't sent me their information for the blog candy wins, so if I haven't received this by tomorrow morning, I'll be redrawing a few of the prizes.

Now on to some creative sharing. As many of you know, I'm head over heals in LOVE with Tattered Angels goodness. I love the glimmer and the vibrant colors and I love getting inky fingers when I'm working with all of the Tattered Angels yumminess. This month on the Tattered Angels blog, the design team is sharing with you canvas projects. My post goes live on the 16th, but I thought I would share with you a canvas I created.

For this project I used Dragonfly, Keylime Pie, and Apple Glimmer Mists, Bordeaux Glimmer Glam, Nature Butterfly Glimmer Chip, some Rockin Renaissance Crepe Ribbons, and the butterfly stencil from the Nature kit.

I've used Helmar Liquid Scrapdots on a bunch of the elements on the canvas to give it that extra dimension. I also used the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for the bingo tile (also Tattered Angels). It works so wonderfully well on canvas.

Freedom is from Within! Isn't that the truth? No one can take it away unless you give it. I think this is one of my favorite projects I've created. I've got 3 more Canvas projects to share with you in just a few days, so come back and take a boo.

What is your favorite quote and why? I'd love to see a bunch of different quotes in the comment section. Hope you all have a fantastic day. And Martha, if you are reading this HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

  5. Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow!!!! Looooove it! What a gorgeous piece, all my favorite things.. colors, texture, shimmer, butterflies, vintage-y goodness. *sigh*

I love so many quotes, I couldn't possibly pick a favorite, but there are two that I am pondering for the new year (ya know, instead of "making resolutions" I'm "pondering quotes" LOL!!):

"It is not who you are that holds you back, it is who you think you are not." (sorry I don't know the author)

    And...

Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it. (Bill Cosby)

  6. This is just gorgeous and so inspiring.

I love quotes and one of the ones I really like is...
Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.
    -- Oprah Winfrey

Now this is only concerning life...NOT...crafty stuff. LOL
