Urban Swank Christmas Projects

Oh the weather outside look frightful...

Hi Everyone and welcome to Saturday at Ink Cut and Fold. I'm so fortunate to be on the Urban Swank Design team, and today I'm sharing with you a little gift giving idea using Urban Lily products, Helmar Adhesive, and Tattered Angels Glimmer products for the Urban Swank Christmas Gift Idea Blog Hop.

If you have been hopping along with the Urban Swank girls, thanks for stopping in. You should have hopped here from Becky's blog, If not, hop on over to the Urban Swank blog to follow along.

For this project, I used a simple wood frame from Ikea. I painted it with Jenni Bowlin Paint dabbers, then added some Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Mist. I love how the daubers and the Glimmer Glam resist the Glimmer Mist. Really gives a vintage feel to the frame.

The papers are from the Everyday Lily collection and I so love the soft blues and sage greens in these. I'm a fussy cutter and Urban Lily papers are the perfect designs for me to get out those scissors and cut cut cut.

I thought that the sentiment was perfect to use with a fussy cut butterfly from the Celebrate papers from Happy Everything Collection . One of those "don't be afraid to be different" moments I think.

Now it is time to hop on over to Rachel's blog. Make sure you leave a comment for everyone along the way. We all so appreciate your thoughts. Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you have a fantastic Saturday.

Make sure you "like" the Urban Swank Facebook page too. We are giving goodies away all weekend.

  8. Oooh, the everyday lily collection is perfect for fussy cutting. I already posted on FB that my fav is Happy Everything, but maybe I shouldn't have been so quick. Your frame is absolutely gorgeous! I really haven't seen much of Urban Swank, but I'm thinking that I need to add them to my Christmas list!
