What a fantastic weekend we had here. My parents came out from Calgary to celebrate our sons 6th birthday. That little boy got his 2nd goal ever on his birthday, and an absolutely amazing lunch at my sisters house to celebrate her birthday too. Doesn't get much better than that.
This week I am guest designing for Paris Creativity and Deb over at Sparkling Scrapbooks has made this week all about me and my Paris creations. I'm humbled and blessed all wrapped into one. Today I get to share with you the Blinged Out Christmas tree using the Paris Creativity Bling Gem and Rhinestone packs. I think out of all the Paris Creativity products available, these are my absolute favorite thing. So much fun to work with and so gosh darn sparkly!!!
For this project, I had a small sized paper mache cone that I covered. Then I punched out some butterflies using the Shopping Fever theme pack. Finished it off with a few color coordinated buttons and a plain jane cone turned into a Paris worthy Christmas Tree. TADA!!!!!
For the bottom of the tree, I wanted to create a little ruffle, so I spritz some white cardstock with Vintage Pink Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Yup I so love this little number. All of the butterflies and buttons have been adhered to the tree using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. Talk about a strong hold!!!
I thank you so so much for stopping by today and checking out my first project for the Paris Creativity "Erika Taylor" 4 Days of Christmas hehe. come back tomorrow to see what I created next. Deb will be featuring projects on her blog Sparkling Scrapbooks and on the Paris Creativity facebook page all week.
