A Note from your Mother with Jillibean and Helmar

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday to all of you today. Our son is on his very first "big" field trip today and the weather is looking wonderful for that.

I wanted to share with you a card that I created for Helmar today.  The blog post is kinda comical, so stop on by the  Helmar blog to take a read.
This card is filled with Maya Road, Tattered Angels, Jillibean Soup and of course Helmar.

I used this weeks Mojo Monday card and I'm crossing my fingers for a win.All of the tricket pins ribbon and Velvet blossoms are from May Arts and I just loving the Jillibean papers. They all coordinate.

Here it is.

You can really see the Marshmallow Glimmer mist on the close up. I think it is my new favorite color hehe.

Please hop on over to the Helmar blog if you haven't checked it out before. By the way, what was one of your childrens favorite field trips?

  3. Beautiful card Erika! I love the sparkle. I don't have kids yet, but my doggies favorite "trip" is visiting Tennessee. They love being nestled in a cabin in the Smokey's.

  5. No kids. When I was in kindergarten in Ottawa, we took a trip into the "sugar bush". We watched how they tapped the maple trees, ate hardened syrup off plates of snow, and toured the maple syrup factory. It was probably the best field trip I ever went on and we had some great ones before moving west: Parliament Hill, Gov. General's house, the mint, The Museum of Man, The Museum of Science & Technology to name a few.
    Love the card, BTW.
