Hello Everyone. The weather really showed some serious Spring potential today and it was so nice to sit out on the back deck and watch the children play in the yard. I can't wait until I can have my morning coffee out there on a regular basis.
Today I'm sharing with you a few projects I made a little bit ago using a great line from Shabby Green Door . This collection is called Farmers Market and is super sweet. I love the colors, the freshness and the patterns.
Doesn't that just make you want to bake Apple Pie? The rub-ons are great to work with and are one of my favorite things. Rub-ons Oh how I love thee. What is your favorite product? Which collection out there do you just love?
Hope you all have a great weekend. My parents are coming out from Calgary for the weekend to spend some time with the grandchildren and we are all very excited about that.
One last piece of information for you. The new Gauche Alchemy Ning site has gone live and I'd love to see you stop by and become a member. Whether you create cards, scrapbook layouts, mixed media or jewelry, this place is going to be a great resource and a wonderful community. So stop on by

ReplyDeleteI think I called it a project, but thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I like that you shared yours.
I love this PROJECT ;)--has a very nice, summer fair feel. Where's the squash, tomatoes and watermelon? I'm suddenly in the mood for a picnic. TFS!

It's a nice card. I can't believe you've left such nasty comments on here as the anonymous ones above. If they don't like your art they don't have to look at it. As if the world needs more badmouthing. Nice handmade cards are appreciated by almost everyone I know. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI think this card is absolutely DARLING!
ReplyDeleteErika ....I love the colours, so fresh and clean! I like your response to Anonymous (who may should be brave enough to leave their name/link so we can see what they do) - very dignified - I like it! Love your "art project". We are all diverse (thank goodness) ....different strokes for different folks and it is each to their own!
ReplyDeleteI like your blog - thank you for sharing!
I know every one it entitled to an opinion but the anonymous was just plain rude. If you can't say anything nice DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!!
ReplyDeleteNice bright and cheery card very in the mood for spring and there are many types of art.
I don't call a messy bed art or a cow sawn in half including a calf! but they have been winners of the most prestegous art awards! (go figure) art is in the eye of the beholder! keep your nasty opinions to your self
Love Dawn xx
FABULOUS Card, Erika!! Makes me want to throw a table cloth on a picnic table and eat fried chicken :)
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, love the stamp set. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
ReplyDeleteErika, such nasty people are usually very deeply sad, unfulfilled people. Were she not ashamed, she would have signed it & given you a way to contact her.
ReplyDeleteTo me this care takes me back 50 years when I was in my 20's and it has the "County Fair" feel to it! I would be happy for that card to bless my studio any day! Hugs, Pat Smith
Very cute Erika - I really like all your posts and as already stated by others cannot believe the mean natured comments left by "Anoy"namous!
ReplyDeleteSome people will do anything for attention! Keep up your great work!
there is really nothing that I do not like about this awesome card. I adore the colors. You are a good artist. I am now a follower. YIPEE!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your art! Yes, I said ART. I am a country girl so yes, please kill me slowly with Laura Ashley. Keep bringing it! Thanks for sharing your ARTISTRY!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Mrs Taylor! I really love the colors! My current favorite product is Maya Mist...I love the intensity of the colors it produces (vs the more subtle glimmer mist)...have you tried it?
