Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday. We are half way through the week and the weather is absolutely beautiful today. Sun is shining, birds are chirping and the snow is definitely melting.
I'm sharing with you today a card I made using About Art Accents stamps. The image is colored in using pencil crayons and Shimmerz. I love coloring and I have since I was 2. There is something almost therapeutic about coloring don't ya think?!?
Here she is. I hope you enjoy.
What do you do to give you that therapeutic feeling?
Hope you have a fantastic day

Erika, it's lovely! And yes, I find coloring very therapeutic.
ReplyDeleteLovely creation. I do yoga and soak in hot tubs filled with lavender scented bubbles (oh, and use color dyes but not in the tub).
ReplyDeleteoh yes, I totally agree with you about coloring being calming. I love your card!
ReplyDeleteI was doing some colouring with the kids at a Christmas party for our Mom's group a couple of years ago, and Camille (yes, Crop Suey Camille) and I enjoyed some time with the markers too. Maybe we just didn't feel like being grown up.
ReplyDeleteI also like to sit on the couch in the sun and read a book, and having a nice soak with some bath salts.
Happy colouring girl!
Very pretty. I am not much of a colorer but my daughter who is 35 still enjoys it. I prefer to unwind with reading a book while I soak in a hot tub of water.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who never wanted to grow up so she could keep coloring. Well she grew up but she's still coloring- she an school art teacher. I glad you are still doing art. Lovely piece. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteWOW oh WOW! This is just one amazing card and love your coloring.
ReplyDeleteI love colouring too, but nothin' beats red wine and dark chocolate!
ReplyDeleteLove this beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteSimply fabulous! Coloring is such a relaxing way to link our "grown up" art with our "childhood" peace and fun.
ReplyDeleteWow - tremendous card!!! I too get relaxation being in my craft room!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love crocheting and gluing things on other things, that's therapeutic for me! :D
