Happy Monday to all of you. How was your weekend? Anything exciting to share? Today I've got a very different project to share with you for the Queen Kat Blog Hop. This week, our challenge was to use the color combination of Green, Blue and Orange. I wasn't sure what I was going to do for this, but came up with a few cards for you.
The March Kit has some great chipboard pieces in it, so I've gone and painted a few of them up. This is an "Erika pretends to be abstract artsy" card lol
I'm wondering where my mind went with that one. Sometimes, I just let things take me where they will and that took me somewhere I haven't been before.
Just to keep things interesting, I did a second card, that is a little more what you are all used to.
Now this one doesn't follow the color challenge, but I wanted to show you what I did with the "negative space" of the chipboard piece from the above card.
Waste not want not ha.
So here are the details. You should have hopped here from Terri's Blog . If you haven't started at the beginning, make sure you go to the QKD Blog and you will find a list of where to start.
Thank you so very much for stopping by today. Make sure you take a look at the New products at Queen Kat Designs . I'm so smitten with the new Fairy Queen of Hearts and Tea 4 Two stamp sets. Alice is Wonderland is great inspiration for anything creative. Also check out the amazing sale that is on until the end of the month. 40% off all stamps (excluding separate stamps and personalized stamps). You can get a whole lotta stamps for 20 bucks for sure
