This has been a really tough week. First had a terrible flu for 48 hours. chills, temp, nausea, sore throat...Really the whammy of all flu bugs. Then just my luck it turns into a brutal cold. and to top it off a double eye infection. Well today is the first day that I felt remotely human again. I have a voice and can kinda see lol. So while the household were all down taking a nap, I decided to try my luck at some time in the craft room. Gotta love creating with constant watering eyes, But I just couldn't stay away any longer. I am really not in love with the card, but I got back into the swing of things and hopefully will have my creative MOJO back very soon. Here is something to share with you for now though. Hope you like it.
This card fills the Mojo Monday 81 sketch, as well as Caardvarks-fantasy challenge and Flutterby #52. On with the show
This is one of my favorite stamp sets from About Art Accents called Anita Louise Musette 3 Silhouettes Plate. These silhouettes remind me of the paper mobiles my mom has in her home. Very European. I did a few techniques on the card. Something I call self brayering where I use my finger instead of the brayer lol.
Supplies:
stamps: About Art Accents- Fairy Tree and Happy Mother's Day Stamp-Anita Louise Musette 3 Silhouettes Plate
Spellbinders: rectangles and squares-straight and scalloped
Paper: Card stock- Not Quite Navy, Cameo Coral, Naturals White, Marrakech Chai and Madagascar Mint.
Accessories: Cream Satin Ribbon, 3 colors silk flowers, Square Ice Turquoise Brads,
Coloring agents: Versafine Onyx Black, Kaleidocolor Creole Spice, Celery December Sky and Teal Shimmerz
Tools: Big Shot, Scor-pal, Purple Cows 2-in-1 trimmer
