Brown and Green

Here is a card that I made last night for a color swap. As the title reveals, it was what you could create using green and brown. Well I'm tooting my own horn here. I am so happy with how this one turned out.

I used a beautiful stamp from Innovative Stamp Creations It is from the plate Beautiful Flowers. The stamps that Betsy Griffins makes are absolutely stunning and if you ever want to try unmounted stamps, I strongly suggest getting a plate from this lady. One of the places you can get her stamps is at Integrity Design. I used Lt. Green and Brown markers from Le Plume to color the stamp, then stamped it on vellum. Attached it with Brads and that was that

For a finishing touch, I decided to add a snippit of velvet ribbon. I don't use ribbons often, but this project has made me see, that you can use it in so many different way.

Happy Crafting
