Scrapbook Star Paint Smooch Tutorial

Fall is definitely upon us and the weather is changing quickly. Leaves on the trees are going fast, snow has stopped by for a visit and Halloween is right around the corner. Today I've got a great and easy card project to show you. This card has a full tutorial over at Scrapbook Star so please stop by and take a look. You can find all of my tutorials in the forum under Erika's Tutorials.

Acetate is a great product to use in projects and can really be altered to suit your creative needs. Try using it in your next creative adventure. Thanks for stopping by and keep coming back. I have a HUGE blog candy give away coming up and the more you stop by and tell others to do the same, the more that will go into the candy pile. So start letting people know.

A little outside of my comfort zone!

Here is a different card for you all today. I decided to go hard or go home, and am still wondering if I should have gone home lol. This card was based on a previous CPS sketch challenge with a few changes along the way. The card itself is Very Vanilla that I stamped with versamark and embossed. Then sprayed the entire card with Tiger Lily Glimmer Mist to creat my own little piece of design paper heaven. So far so good. Added some flourishes on the black label 1 CS, and the ribbon. Now this is where I banged my head against the desk for a bit. I made the large flourish myself from an old waffle box and painted it with Ranger Adirondack Snow Cap (which you can purchase over at Pez-A-Doodles), then adhered a green, orange and black mix of sequins. I've never used sequins in a project ACK!!! The center flower is stamped, cut out and glimmer misted 4 times to give it stiffness and a super copper finish.
Hope this card is enjoyed by you all, it was a daunting one for me to create. But if I am not willing to step outside my comfort zone, I'll become...boring *snort*
