Three Projects to Hop For

It is no secret, that when it comes to Myths and Legends, Miss Erika is a huge fan. Ever since I was young, I thought being a mermaid would be the perfect way to live. Free in the ocean, talking to the animals of the water.I still dream about that once in a while and wanted to share with you today an absolutely beautiful stamp available at I Brake for Stamps.

This is probably to most stunning mermaid stamp I've come across and the image is perfect when you stamp it. For this card, I decided to do a little Copic coloring and some "very fussy cutting" with the Moonlight Mermaid image. I stamped her 3 different times so I could get the splashes and the tail. Adding a splash of glitter to make that water come alive and we've got ourselves a winner I think. Here is the finished card for you. To get a closer look, just click on the photos themselves.

Here is a close up of the Moonlight Mermaid herself.

There are so many wonderful fantasy inspired stamps at the I Brake for Stamps store. So if you like the mythical, the beautiful or the unique, please hop on over and take a peek. While you are there, make sure to use my design team code SAVE10ERIKA to get 10% off your purchase.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. On a side note I have two other posts up today. One you can find at the Basically Bare blog which is a soft layout of my babies, and the other a great Halloween card on the Scrapping Cottage Blog. Make sure you hop on over and say hi.

I hope the rest of your day is simply magical

Sunny Grosgrain and Distress Inks

I have started the count down to CHA and am so excited to go for the first time. Talk about a hoot, to spend time with some amazing friends, work a little in the Helmar booth and check out some of the new products that I'm already drooling over.

Since I'm feeling all bright and cheery, I've got a favorite line to share with you today. One of my posts last week featured Lily Bee Designs paired with Really Reasonable Ribbon and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the match. This card uses the 3/8" Yellow Gingham Ribbon paired up with the Hello Sunshine Line

Just vibrant colors. Love gingham check ribbons and Really Reasonable Ribbon has over 70 styles to pick from.

Off to enjoy the rest of the day. Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend.

Hey there everyone and welcome to a hoppy day here on my blog. If you are looking for the Queen Kat Designs Hop, please scroll down.

Today is another Really Reasonable Ribbon hop and I'm super excited about the projects the design team has shared with you along the way. If you have been hopping along, you should have jumped here from Cheryl's Blog . This girl is beyond talented, and if you have a chance to peruse her blog, you will be in awe of her talent.

If you are just starting off, hop on back to the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog. Make sure you leave some love at every stop because you could win a July Ribbon Club pack from Really Reasonable Ribbon, filled with one of my favorite color combinations.

I've recently started using a bunch of Lily Bee Designs papers and the 7/8 Circus Dots in Jade is a great addition to the line. It comes in two widths {7/8" and 1 1/2"} and tonnes of colors. I just adore this grosgrain ribbon. YUMMO!

Here is my creation for this months hop

You last stop on the hop is back to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog . Make sure you check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store too. There are some amazing things in the sales bin and some of the new products like the 3/8" velvet ric-rac. How can you go wrong with velvet and ric-rac combined mmmmmm.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you have enjoyed the hop

Lily Bee and Tim Holtz Butterfly

Lily Bee Design is quickly becoming one of my favorites in the crafting industry. Their colors and patterns are amazing, and I just love the quality of their rub-ons. In my design team box from Helmar, I received some beautiful Lily Bee goodies, and I am just over the moon excited to share with you all a project I created for the Helmar blog this past Thursday.

I used the Lovely Collection and the awesome Tim Holtz die Fancifyl Flight. Talk about two things that such fit together like hand and glove.

To get the layers of the butterfly to stick together, I used the V2 Vellum adhesive and let me tell ya, this stuff is like magic. Perfect for layering and perfect for adding shine and sparkle with a little glitter.

Such a soft color palette and I found in my ribbon stash, the perfect organza match from Really Reasonable Ribbon to go with it. If you are wanting to see more Lily Bee creations, hop on by the Helmar Blog to see an entire week of wonderful artwork from the Helmar design team.
