A little more Autumn and some Halloween

In between blog posts and getting ready for my second class tonight, I thought I would quickly share with you a few more projects I created with this months Sweater Weather kit from Dixie Pieces. This kit is really wonderful and I hope you will grab one while they last.

First off another layout for you. To think that this layout and the previous posts layouts were created with the same kit. Who Knew!!!

Next a couple more cards.

Now I did say that I would share a little Halloween with you, so here I am all painted up as a Sugar Skull. (thank you so much for the inspiration Jamie )

Until next time

Simply Wicked

Please pop to this link to enter my blog candy giveaway. There will be a few wonderful I Brake for Stamps images, Cottage Cutz dies, Basically Bare embellishments and more!!!

Halloween does cometh!!! and I love it. Anything ghoulish, wicked and creepy is perfect for this time of year. So what better way to start celebrating than to create a Wicked little tag. Hi everyone, I'm here today to share a really cool tag using the Tree Background Stamp from I Brake for Stamps. This stamp has so many possibilities and I've decided that I am going to try a few different tags using it. But today you get to see my Halloween one.

First I stamped the tree image onto a Glimmer Misted tag. I used a combination of Sun Sisters, Mel's Diner and Puerto Rico Then I applied a few layers of UTEE. Once dried and cooled, I cracked it and added some Glass bead medium, a few small embellishments using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and the ribbon. Definitely wicked I'd say boohahahahaha. Hope you enjoy

And to see the Tree Branches a little closer, I've taken another photo for you. This stamp is simply amazing and I know it is going to quickly become an absolute favorite of mine

Take a look at the beautiful background stamps that I Brake for Stamps has. There is one for each of your projects. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. Don't forget when shopping at I Brake for Stamps, to use my design team code to receive 10% off your order. The code is SAVE10ERIKA. Until next time

The Joys of Cough Cough...

It's Wednesday and My husband has been able to go back to work. He was sick, but has bounced back. The children and myself are still yucky sick, but i thought a little blog post would work today.

I'm still beyond belief excited about the Tattered Angels Design Team position and I can't wait to play with more of their wonderful products. I've got an ever growing wish list hehe.

I was checking through my photo files and noticed that I have quite a few projects that I haven't shared with all of you, so today and tomorrow I'll be playing a little catch up.

First off a great little treat matchbox that I created for the Halloween Challenge going on right now over at Really Reasonable Ribbon. This challenge is sponsored by YNS and that super sweet Frankenstein, is one of their stamps. Love it!!! There are a few more days left to get your Halloween projects in to win. All stuck together with my favorite Helmar adhesives.

The Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog also announced their new design team today, so check that out as well. I'm so excited with the amazing talent on the team.

Next a few other Halloween cards that I made quite some time ago and wanted to share them with ya.

I so love Halloween and I'm crossing my fingers that the children and I will be healthy enough to go out and enjoy it.

Well that is it for tomorrow. Thanks everyone for stopping by today.

Oh I've got a question for all of you. What are your tricks to getting published?

A Little Halloween Goodness

Hello Everyone and welcome to Tuesday. We went across the border on Sunday for regular grocery shopping and a few new clothes for the kids. On our way back, a 2 hour drive from where we went (roughly), we ran into a small problem. The border hours had changed and we were stuck in the US. Never fear a mini vacation was upon us. Too funny I think. The children got their first Hotel experience and loved it.

Now we are back and I'm enjoying some serious creating.

Today I've got a few projects to share with you, that I created for my Design Team spot at Frantic Stamper. This store truly has everything you could possibly need. Gotta love that. Check out the Frantic Stamper blog to see a bunch of great projects. Lots of Halloween goodies on the blog right now.

I'm sharing a few halloween cards to go with the Birdhouse I did a while back. Hope you enjoy

Both cards use the Hallowe'en in Wonderland collection by Graphic 45. Yum Yum YUM!!!!

A little My Minds Eye on the second one. I so love the flocking in the Haunted Collection

Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday. If you have a moment, take a look at Tammy Tutterows Blog today. What a beautiful romantic canvas.
