Halloween does cometh!!! and I love it. Anything ghoulish, wicked and creepy is perfect for this time of year. So what better way to start celebrating than to create a Wicked little tag. Hi everyone, I'm here today to share a really cool tag using the Tree Background Stamp from I Brake for Stamps. This stamp has so many possibilities and I've decided that I am going to try a few different tags using it. But today you get to see my Halloween one.

First I stamped the tree image onto a Glimmer Misted tag. I used a combination of Sun Sisters, Mel's Diner and Puerto Rico Then I applied a few layers of UTEE. Once dried and cooled, I cracked it and added some Glass bead medium, a few small embellishments using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and the ribbon. Definitely wicked I'd say boohahahahaha. Hope you enjoy

And to see the Tree Branches a little closer, I've taken another photo for you. This stamp is simply amazing and I know it is going to quickly become an absolute favorite of mine

Take a look at the beautiful background stamps that I Brake for Stamps has. There is one for each of your projects. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. Don't forget when shopping at I Brake for Stamps, to use my design team code to receive 10% off your order. The code is SAVE10ERIKA. Until next time

Happy World Card Making Day

What a perfect day to stay indoors and create today. WCMD is a great way to start off your Christmas Cards because before ya know it, St Nick will be here. I've got the greatest news to share with all of you today as well. Really the perfect day to announce that I will be starting to teach card making classes at a great local scrapbook store called The Scrap Yard. Starting on October 12th, I will be teaching a couple times a month. The classes will be filled with fun and information and I hope that if you are in the Calgary area, that you will sign up and start making those Christmas Cards.

Add them on to facebook as well so you can keep up to date on whats happening. The facebook page for The Scrap Yard is here. Stop by and let them know that Erika Taylor sent ya.

I'm so stinkin excited about this WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

So to celebrate WCMD and my step into the teaching circle, here are a few of my favorite cards I've created over the past few months.

Also don't forget to enter my little Blog Candy Giveaway. It is filled with Cottage Cutz dies, Basically Bare embellishments, ribbon, and goodies galore. I will be selecting a winner the end of next week. Want an extra entry? share my blog candy on facebook, twitter, or your own blog.
