It's All Rock N Roll to Me!!!!

There is something so liberating about embracing change. It allows you to grow in ways you never imagined. Although that change can add to stress and difficulties, it is how you come out of it that truly matters.

Tomorrow my husband will finally arrive here to live. It has been 2+ months and I am beyond thrilled that we will be a family under one roof again. It is the little things I've missed the most and I know the children feel the same. So I think it is a time to celebrate. Celebrate the goodness in our lives and enjoy those little things.

Today I've got a few sparkly creations to share with you, using Sparkle N Sprinkle products. I am falling in love all over again with stamping and I wonder why I ever let it slide away. These stamps from SNS are truly beautiful to create with. I love the crisp images and the designs are vast!!!

First off a little Rock and Roll card for you using Paper Trunk papers and the Rock On Collage stamp. I've used Oriental Fire embossing powder and Black Ice Glitter to create a hopping card. Love that Oriental Fire Embossing Powder!!!

Now how about a Mardi Gras inspired card? Filled with purples, greens and silvers. YUMMO! The stamp is one of the beautiful Art Deco stamps from Sparkle N Sprinkle. These images are absolutely stunning and I love the feel and movement they have. This stamp is called Mon Amis Umbrella and can be found in the Mon Ami stamp set. I've paired the image up with Peacock Embossing PowderPurple Fusion and Sassy Silver Glitter to create that perfect Fat Tuesday card.

So if you love embossing powders, glitter and great stamp images, take a look over at the Sparkle N Sprinkle store. There is so much to feast your eyes on and you'll want to grab a few jars for sure.

Well, I'm off to do a little laundry before I start creating again. The children are both getting better, thanks to amoxicillin YEAH!!! Until next time

My Core’dinations Creative Frenzy

There is no better card stock on the market than Core'dinations. I'm finding I immediately reach for it whether Gemstone, Black Magic, Vintage or White Wash. So when I saw the Core'dinations Design Team call go up, I KNEW I just had to throw my name in the ring.

I've created 2 new projects and will share a few oldies but goodies as well. Hoping that more than 3 projects isn't going to hurt me. How do you narrow it down to 3 when you use this stuff on almost everything???!!!???

First off I have a pretty card using the Gemstone Collection. I love dry embossing and Core'dinations Cardstock is beautiful when you emboss it. I've used Helmar Premium Craft glue for the entire card. This card was made specifically for the call

Next I created an altered frame using Black Magic and Gemstone Collections. I so love how the entire project turned out. The colors are simply perfect and the Black Magic Collection really makes your embossing/sanding/tearing POP!!!This altered frame was made specifically for the call.

Here is a close up of the layered flowers. I really wanted to have a the purple shine, so the Gemstone/Black Magic layers are perfect for one another.

Now for an older card that really screams summer time!!! I love the citrus color palette I used. It really shows off the torn edges and the distressing.

How about some "boo-tiful" Black Magic again? The contrast between the black and the colors is truly amazing!!!

And finally a layout showcasing how well the White Wash collection as well as Core Essentials cardstock tear and distress. I love how you get these little surprises of color and I know if you use Core'dinations, you understand exactly what I mean hehe.

I'm so hoping that a spot on this amazing design team is in the cards. I'd love to hear all of your comments about my projects and also let me know what your favorite Core'dinations collection is.

Let the patience kick in and the waiting begin
