Sea you Soon-Bombshell Style

Hi Everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all. Today is weigh in night and I'm doing fairly well so far. I'm down and that is what matters. Today I put a belt on that I haven't worn in ages. I needed it to hold up my jeans lol.

I've got a great little card to share with you today using the Bombshell Stamps set Homeward Bound and some Silver Lustre and Mica Metallics Paper Temptress paper. These two are the perfect combination. I love the glitter and glimmer that happens with this stuff..

For the Silver lustre paper, I used alcohol ink on it to give it an ocean feel. I do like how it turned out. The fish stamp is one of my favorite smaller stamps from Bombshell Stamps and I really wanted to play up the sparkle, so painted them with Shimmerz Paints.

I love how the overall card turned out. The colors are soft and subtle which really lets the sparkle shine through. Say that 5 times fast hehe. Well I'm off. I hope that you all had a great day. "Sea you Soon"

Some Crate Paper Goodness

Hello Everyone and Happy Tuesday. Last month Scrapbook Star had a fantastic kit full of Crate Paper goodness. The Season collection is really sweet and the quality of the paper is beyond amazing. I decided to do a few projects but really want to share one that makes me smile. The sentiment kind of says it all doesn't it?

I am really loving  Basic Grey alpha stickers as of late too. Never thought I'd use alpha stickers on my cards, but it has happened. These ones really make the card pop don't you think?

I took the doily and cut it up to create some great shapes. yup this was one of my favorite kits until this month happened ACKKKKKK!!!! Samantha at Scrapbook Star sure knows how to put together a beautiful Kit. I just did a tutorial over on the Scrapbook Star forum using the April kit and would love for you to stop by.
Hope you have a fantastic day.

Extra, extra, read all about it!!  The Gauche Girls Open Up!...

If you've stopped by the Gauche Alchemy blog today, you'll see that a brand-spanking new team has been announced, and in honor of that, all the Gauche Girls are Opening Up.  How easy are we..to figure out that is!  If you haven't started at the beginning of our hop, Hop on back to the Gauche Blog and start in the fun there. There are RAKs up for grabs along the hop, so make sure you comment on each Gauche Girls blog for a chance to win some serious yumminess. If you have been following along, you came from Yvonne's blog . Quirky indeed don't ya think!

Now for the fun part: Each of us Gauche Girls has chosen a word that best describes Why we're so Gauche! Honey, this is where you need to work it a little!  Here's what you do:  Find all the words and which  hoppin' hunny they belong to, head back to the GA Blog & post a comment with your answers - if you get it right, you get a shot at a kick-ass prize pack from The Head Honchettes themselves! See, it's EASY. If you have already started on the hop you should have come from {enter blog that is directly before you in the list here}

My word, although I could have chosen many, is  Cheeky. It is that one word that is truly a part of who I am every day. A little brash, a little ballsy and a whole lot forward.
So to share with you a little of me, here is something that is Gauche certified. A few pages of my newly started Art journal. You want me to open up... YOU GOT IT!!!

Now shake your tail feathers all the way to Andrea's blog  and stare at some more Gauchy Goodness and get to know the rest of the team, since I've OPENED UP to you already *wink*

PS- there's some candy here too, so leave a comment letting me know what one word best describes you, for a chance to win a surprise bundle of Gauchy Goodness. Take a look in the store too. These kits are truly awesome and you are going to love using them.
