Scrapbook Star kit card

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far. Today I'm sharing with you a card I created for the August Scrapbook Star Kit. These kits are packed with wonderful things and the August one had a bunch of one of my favorite manufacturers. 7 Gypsies.
So here it is. Let me know what you think. It is a really distressed card for me, but I loved making it. Take a look at Scrapbook Star. There are some absolutely amazing products in store that you just have to try. I'm also entering this card into this months Spicy Chipboard Challenger over at GingerSnap Creations.

Pez-a-Doodle Release Party

Today is a bittersweet day. The wonderful news: It's Pez-a-Doodle Release day and there are some absolutely cute cute cute stamps available to all of you so go on over to Pez-A-Doodles to see them. Princesses, Bugs on a picnic and some wonderful Nestabilities Stamps to use with your Nesties. Not to mention skittles, pez-a-bling and flower soft. This first card I created using the Picnicin Ladybug. I stamped the image 5 times and did a fair bit of paper piecing with this one, but the end result is super sweet. Notice the matching Skittles with ice cream cones on them?

This next card I used my most favorite stamp from Pez-a-Doodle to date. This is Princess Isabella. A Spanish beauty for sure. There is a whole line of princesses that are just wonderful to stamp with. Oh and did you know that Pez-a-Doodle has Grungeboard? One of my favorite things and I used a few pieces in this card.

So many wonderful things to buy at Pez-a-Doodle and many which I used in these two cards. Grungeboard, Skittles, Pez-a-Bling, International Princesses, Picnicin Bugs, Stickles, Crackle Paint...the list goes on for miles.

Now you may be wondering "why so bittersweet"? Well today is my final day as a Pez-a-Doodle girl. I have so enjoyed the time I've spent on this wonderful design team.
